New York Fashion Week has taken over social feeds, with styling inspiration and boundary-pushing design on full display. One showcase that left a mark was Sandy Liang’s Spring 2027 Ready-to-Wear collection.
Sandy Liang, based in New York City, was founded in 2014 and is known for its coquettish, girlhood aesthetic, citing Sofia Coppola’s Marie Antoinette and Chinese grandmothers’ outfits as inspiration.

Twenty Seven Names, founded by Rachel Easting and Anjali Burnett, first met in primary school, so it’s not surprising that girlhood is an ever-present theme for the brand.
